Plasma – is about 90% water and 10% gases, salts, nutrients, enzymes, hormones, waste
products, and plasma proteins.
2 types of cells: red and white blood cells.
Red Blood Cells - transport oxygen. Get color from
hemoglobin – iron containing protein that binds oxyger
to the cells. Most numerous blood cell. Circulate for
120 days before destroyed by liver and spleen.
